The featured photo above was taken in the late 1960’s along Hwy 27 near the south entrance to Graysville, Tennessee. To the left, you can see the corner of a business and the beer signs advertising the Keystone Bar. Traveling to Chattanooga on this two lane road was a bit slower than on today’s four lane by-pass, which is shown below.

January 31, 2021 at 4:41 amThank you for this memory. I regret that I didn’t take photo of the entire Hwy 27 before the they began the new 4 lane. A lot of memories along that hwy while traveling to Chattanooga so many times. The commercial buildings and home along the way are fading from my memory.
