Hwy 27 Graysville-Then and Now

The featured photo above was taken in the late 1960’s along Hwy 27 near the south entrance to Graysville, Tennessee. To the left, you can see the corner of a business and the beer signs advertising the Keystone Bar. Traveling to Chattanooga on this two lane road was a bit slower than on today’s four lane by-pass, which is shown below.

    Thank you for this memory. I regret that I didn’t take photo of the entire Hwy 27 before the they began the new 4 lane. A lot of memories along that hwy while traveling to Chattanooga so many times. The commercial buildings and home along the way are fading from my memory.
